How Will AI Change A Post-COVID Word?

Our dependence on human means of production is a crippling factor in our quickly declining industries globally. As human production slows - AI is beginning to take over.

Humans have been self-producing since the beginning of time, and our shifting interests in pushing forward the world economy requires a very different model. Essential supplies are shifting from traditionally needed water, toilet paper, and paper towels, are now turning into urgent needs for masks and ventilators. What we are at the edge of is shifting from human dependence to dependence on artificial intelligence for mass production. Hospitals are now even utilizing AI for triage at hospitals across the country.

What it means for modern business owners, and the American workforce is a shift from jobs of repetition and process to jobs of creative and intellectual necessity. More than ever - instead of just being invested in individuals joining the workforce - the primary concern will be that of being irreplaceable useful in a post-COVID world. Rapidly, jobs normally held by human beings will begin to be filled by machines. Not simply for capitalism's sake - but for the continuation of critical supplies and products.

We now have cause to give great consideration in business-building to crafting companies that not only have use in the world during and after COVID, but how those businesses will employ and utilize a human, and machine workforce going forward. Though the pandemic is only rumored to continue into the Fall of 2021 - the impact of the economic shift it has created will ripple far into the future and we must individually prepare for it.

Businesses must start to consider now - roles and opportunities outside of manufacturing as many of these roles will be filled by computers in the coming years. Educational institutions now teaching remotely will need alternative ways to generate a useful workforce now that physical tasks and labor are effectively being reassigned.

How do you think your business could benefit from utilizing AI? How do you predict the workforce and available jobs will change and shift with the coming wave of artificial workers replacing humans in the workforce?
